Sheringham Carnival

Carnival week: 3rd August - 11th August

Sheringham’s traditional week long summer Carnival is filled with family-fun events for all ages from the torchlight parade to duck racing and the much-anticipated carnival crowning.

Carnival week: 17th August-23rd August

There’s a whole heap of family-fun events at this year’s Cromer Carnival. It’s a jam-packed week with everything from dog agility to a knobbly knees contest and the Cromer carnival bake off. There’s something for everyone!

World Crabbing Competition: 25th August

Fancy yourself a crabbing expert? Enter the World Crabbing Competition and try to catch the most crabs or the biggest crab. You’ve got just 1 hour to prove your skills and be in with a chance of being crowned the crabbing champion!

All About Dogs Show: 25th - 26th August

Dog lovers, this is the pawfect day out for you and your dog! The All About Dogs event is set to take place at the Norfolk Showground with excellent arena displays, expert advice and lots of activities for dogs and their owners.

Aylsham Show: 26th August

The traditional one-day show on Bank Holiday Monday showcases a wealth of competitions and exhibitors, displaying show horses, cattle, sheep and goats. There’s also a range of sideshows featuring classic cars and the starting handle club for classic engines. This is a true rural Norfolk event that is perfect for families and anyone interested in agriculture.

North Norfolk Food and Drink Festival at Holkham Hall: 31st August - 1st September

This is a festival that every foodie should attend! A celebration of all the best food grown, reared, caught, made and sold in Norfolk. Pork pies, local ale and freshly baked bread; a great selection of tempting treats to tingle your taste buds.
